I have to admit, I have had my share of Cool Whip when I was growing up. In the past couple of years, I have forgone the oil based fake cream substance to whipping my own heavy cream thanks to my Kitchen Aid Mixer. Still a fan of cool whip? Think again! I made homemade whipped cream for our pies this Thanksgiving. I always add a little organic powdered sugar and vanilla, yum!
