New toys: my indoor composter

Since getting our worm bin in October, we've been storing our vegetable waste in the refrigerator and then making a couple trips out to the bin to feed the worms. My friend made a suggestion that I pick up a cute little composter from World Market. For under $20 I got the crock and some compostable bags for the cute little bugger.

Which reminds me -- switching to compostable trash bags is on my green plan. Any one have suggestions on bags to get? I'm about to run out of my Costco trash bags.

  1. That is a really cool toy, though I don't know how my kid will react to it. He is rather aware of garbage bins and might be a bit appalled.
