DIY Natural Lemon Vinegar Cleaner

I saw this recipe on Pinterest and had to try it. Lemons are a staple in our house and we always have peels left over. I was inspired by this recipe by Wonky Wonderful.

  • Fill glass jar with lemon peels
  • Fill glass jar with vinegar
  • Put jar in dark place and forget about it for 2-3
  • Strain liquid from the jar and mix 50/50 water, vinegar
  • Put liquid in container and clean away
It smells great AND is non-toxic.

  1. Great use for lemon peels! How long do you forget about them for?

Here's another use: cut them into chunks, put them in an ice cube tray and fill w/water, freeze. Pop a few out and run them through your garbage disposal for a quick, hazard free clean!
