I expected my blog to be a little quiet this summer. If you haven't noticed, it's been re-designed thanks to Creative Kristi Designs!
This past week my brother and his family drove from Nebraska to experience a Central Oregon vacation. I take for granted this wonderful place I live in too often and finally got to take part in some of the wonderful tourist attractions we have to offer. We rafted, kayaked, hiked, swam, shopped and sampled beer from our many breweries.
But how did my waistline do?
Since starting the Shaklee 180™ Program and keeping track of my calories with MyFitness Pal, I've become fully well aware of how many calories I've been eating and portion sizes. Armed with this knowledge, I made great choices in my eating throughout the week and kept a good stash of Shaklee 180™ meal bars in my purse. Even though I missed out on running and crossfit most of the week, I still remained active with a hike one day and kayaking another day. My weight? I ended up losing a pound throughout the whole week.
