Her bio: Kaycee Anseth uses discarded fashion and home decor magazines as her fodder for creating intricately detailed collages that explore the realms of myth and fairytale as they pertain to personal narrative. Her process is akin to painting with paper, incorporating the eye-popping palettes of high-gloss advertising into both intricate patterns and whimsical figures. Though a southerner, Kaycee hasmade her home in Central Oregon for ten years, and has contributed to the artist community through involvement with PoetHouse Art, RiseUp, and many First Fridays in Downtown Bend. She has created work for TBD Advertising, musician Laurel Brauns, Deschutes Brewery, as well as painted on the walls of Lone Pine Coffee Roasters, Juniper Yoga, and the Tin Pan Theatre.
